Instructions for Installing the
H. B. Industries Air Bag Leveling System
- To
start, build up the pressure on the coach air system.
- Allow
enough time for the automatic levelers to adjust to the proper ride
height.
- Measure
from the ground to the side of the coach at all four corners.
- We find
it easier to:
Ø Remove
the wheels.
Ø Disconnect
the air lines at the air bags.
Ø Connect
the new plastic high pressure lines provided, one to each corner of the
coach. Run these lines to the location of your new operating valves.
Ø Note:
If your coach has two air bags per corner, you must connect them together to
function as one.
- When you
are done, you will have one line from each corner of the coach to the dash
or to where you located your operating valves module.
- Now feed
the system with an air supply line.
- Apply
air pressure to each corner until you reach the same height that was
measured when you began the installation.
- When you
reach the same height, note the pressure on each gauge.
- Each
time you use your leveling system, use these same gauge pressures to level
the coach.
- Finally,
always check the condition when installing our system. This is an
excellent opportunity to change them if needed.
